Most rate pages online are written to make you call, not to tell you the truth. This one publishes our actual working ranges — and explains exactly what pushes a job up or down within them.
These are our own working ranges — not scraped averages, not bait pricing. Two honest caveats before the tables: every genuine mover prices after a survey, because two "2 BHK moves" are rarely the same job; and any mover quoting a firm figure over a thirty-second phone call is guessing, and will adjust that guess on moving day. With that said, here is where typical jobs actually land.

How to spot a fake low quote
The classic trap in this market: a phone quote 30-40% below everyone else, no survey, no paperwork — then on moving day, with your goods half-loaded, the price "adjusts" for stairs, distance, packing material, anything. You pay more than the honest quotes you rejected, plus the stress.
The defence is paperwork: insist on a written quotation after a survey, a packing list you sign at loading, a bilty (lorry receipt) when the truck leaves, and a GST invoice. A mover who provides all four has nothing to hide in the price. (What a bilty is, and why it matters, is its own article.)
